What happened

A dear friend found Buddy in a trash can in Playa Vista. He has wounds on his face — probably from being attacked by another animal — and he's clearly been living rough for a long time. When a cat fight went violent, a discarded bin was the only safe place he could find. He came out shaking, hurt, and terrified. Our friend knew we'd take him, so he came straight to us, and we got him to the vet. He's on pain meds and antibiotics now, his wounds are being treated, and slowly — very slowly — he's letting everyone close enough to pet him. He's going to make it. But he needs your help.

True cat rescue happens here

Buddy landed somewhere soft tonight — but LA's real shelters and rescues are at capacity and need your support. Please give to them, or foster a cat in need.
